Character Bio: By Jay Shepard
"Space...the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before."
Pavel Chekov was the navigator on the starship Enterprise. Hailing from Russia, Chekov performed skillfully as the pilot of the Enterprise for most of its five-year mission. His bravery was one of his fundamental traits, which lead him to survive encounters with a deadly aging virus, or getting 'killed' by the spectral Wyatt Earp on an away mission. Chekov's most prominent trait may be his humility and heritage. To him, all the greatest inventions and discoveries stem from the result of Russian ingenuity, a fact that no one, not even Captain Kirk would dare to dispute.
Ensign Pavel Chekov was released in 2002 as part of the second wave of figures in Art Asylum’s Star Trek: The Original Series collection.
