Comments: Revisiting fan favourites from the first wave of the original Art Asylum Star Trek: The Original Series from 2002, Diamond Select Toys was able to provide new collectors with a chance to obtain cool figures that still hold up to the current day action figures standard.
The first set of figures in Diamond Select Toys’ new Star Trek: The Original Series was released in early 2009 and included, along with a Toys “R” Us exclusive Wrath Of Khan Kirk, Captain James T. Kirk and Commander Spock. This series sold exceptionally well and have lead to a new ongoing line that at first will see reissues, and then move on to new figures including the Salt Vampire, Nurse Chapel, Yeoman Rand, Kirk In Romulan Disguise, and Dr. McCoy in his short sleeved shirt. |
