Frosta became a highly-demanded fan-favorite by the time the Masters of the Universe Classics line entered its fifth year. The prototype revealed at Toy Fair 2012 had a lighter shade of hair that was fully painted, but Mattel's intent was to produce the hair using a translucent blue plastic that regards Frosta's role as an ice empress.
