Whatchu Gotta Know:The Star Trek Metal-Plated Phaser replica was created by the artisans at Quantum Mechanix using a cast from a first generation master of the screen-used prop phaser from the 2009 Star Trek feature film. This polystone collectible features no less than four different metal-pate finishes to accurately recreate the prop. This version is designed similar to the stunt version of the hero prop, meaning it doesn't have moving parts. Unlike a stunt prop however, the QMx Phaser is pretty solid and made of sturdier things than the foam stunt props are usually made from.
