Paying homage to the 200X He-Man & the Masters of the Universe toy line, this highly-anticipated (and much debated) MOTU Classics action figure two-pack boasts new sculpts and was first revealed during the Mattypalooza panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2014. Available beginning February 16, 2015 ($55.00 USD) on Mattel's Matty Collector website and as Club Eternia quarterly figures, it will officially mark the first time that a 200X-styled Snake Armor He-Man figure will have been made widely available in North America. The original 200X release shipped mostly to Europe and Asia, with only several unconfirmed reports domestically. The remaining snake-themed 200X MOTU figures suffered a similar fate, with select online retailers and toy liquidator chains receiving later assortments that contained King Hssss.
The MOTU Classics offerings of each figure faithfully captures the essence of the 200X toy line while remaining true to the modern Classics scale and maneuverability. Accessories include a staff and shield for King Hssss (originally included with the singled-carded King Hssss figure from 2011 in different colors) and a recast of the oversized 200X sword for He-Man.
