Hasbro: What's Coming For Iron Man 2?

For your viewing pleasure, here is a hi-rez gallery of the upcoming toys from Hasbro's brand-new Iron Man 2 toy line!

It's going to be an onslaught of Iron Man toys this spring, with ol' shellhead making a triumphant return to the big screen with an all-new movie, a new villain, and he's bringing along some other heroes as well!

The new toy line shifts to the popular 3?" scale, and we'll see a division in the line with various suits of armor. Much line Hasbro's original Iron Man and X-Men Origins: Wolverine toy lines, Iron Man 2 will be split up into different series: Comic Series, Movie Series, and Concept Series.

Comic Series - After a number of various Iron Man figures in this scale over in the Marvel Universe line, are there any comic-based suits left to turn into action figures? It would seem so, with only the classic armor doubling up...and its seemingly-required (and inaccurate) "stealth operations" repaint along for the ride. But there's also plenty of new characters here as well.

  • Iron Man (Mark I)
  • Iron Man (Blast Off)
  • Iron Man (Stealth Operations)
  • Crimson Dynamo
  • War Machine

Movie Series - Initially, there are only characters from the first movie shown...but it's a pretty safe bet we'll see more suits shortly, as the veil of secrecy is lifted.
  • Iron Man (Mark I)
  • Iron Man (Mark II)
  • Iron Man (Mark III)
  • Iron Monger

Concept Series - One Marvel character that can get away with "made-up" suits of armor is Iron Man, because the guy's freaking rich! While mostly familiar designs, these figures offer a glimpse into Tony Stark's ever-expanding Hall of Armor.
  • Iron Man (Deep Armor Dive Armor)
  • Iron Man (Hypervelocity Armor)
  • Iron Man (Power Assault Armor)

Role Play Toys - What kid doesn't want to dress up as the armored avenger? Here are a few toys that will allow that to happen.
  • Helmet
  • Gauntlet
