Hasbro's 8th G.I. JOE Q&A: The Answers!|
As part of Hasbro's bi-monthly Q&A session, Cool Toy Review passed on 5 of your burning questions and now we've got the answers for you.
Cool Toy Review: The animation and movie that were previewed at SDCC look great. The USS Flagg was shown in one of the slides...any chance this could ever be rereleased, perhaps in conjunction with one of these new projects? The attention on Joe would be at an all-time high, so maybe it's time to bring it back?
Hasbro: There are currently no plans for the Flagg. Some of the original tools are missing and it would have a high price point. There may be a time and place for bringing back the Flagg, but it will not be before the movie.
Cool Toy Review: With the big success of "Operation: Rescue Doc" will we get another mail away figure?
Hasbro: No plans for this right now.
Cool Toy Review: Is there any HOPE of Hasbro doing an original style ZARTAN, ZARANA & ZANDAR with their tradmark outfits and color change abilities??? like Zartan with his swamp Skier????
Hasbro: We just revealed Zartan at Comic-Con, with the Skier. No plans for his
Cool Toy Review: What was the reasoning behind Major Bludd having a "stiff" right arm? Besides the original figure having a similar lack of articulation, is this supposed to be something character-related? (Bludd moved that elbow plenty in the cartoon and comics.) And what chance is there that the figure will be revised sometime in the future with full articulation in that arm?
Hasbro: This was a tribute to the original figure. Anything is possible in the future, but nothing that can be revealed.
Cool Toy Review: Much like Matt Tracker being from another toy line, are there any other toy lines you have looked at for a possible Joe version? Such as C.O.P.S. (I WOULD LOVE to see this personally)
Hasbro: No. Matt Trakker was a one shot tribute. Nothing else is on the plan.
