Stating it is to sate collectors' demands, McFarlane Toys has announced that they will be going back to plastic clamshells for all their Sports Picks figures. According to their latest press release, it is a move to better protect the figures in shipping and in the stores, but in a time where we should be considering the effect consumer products are putting on the environment, this move seems terribly irresponsible.
