eBay Today: Highlander 1/6 Scale Custom Figure Posted by D_Martin on March 11, 2007 at 04:01 PM CST: Brief history on the 1/6 scale Highlander figures: On January 4th, 2004, Sideshow Collectibles announced that they had signed a deal with Davis-Anderson Merchandising Corp that would allow them to produce 1/6 scale figures based on the Highlander feature films and television series. Their line of figures included both modern and origin versions of Connor and Duncan Macleod as well as a modern version of fan favourite the Kurgan. when all was said and done, the line came to an end this last winter and collectors were left without a few key figures they were hoping to get. Among those most desired were the Medieval version of the the Kurgan in his battle armour and Tak Ne a.k.a. Juan Sanchez Villa-Lobos Ramirez, the mentor of Connor Macleod. The latter is featured here now as a custom currently on eBay. The figuresports an original hand sculpted portrait of Sean Connery as Ramirez, complete with 'real' hair and a hand-sewn costume.
