NECA Universal Monsters Frankenstein

We cannot say it enough, we love Universal Monsters. Based on the 1931 classic, Frankenstein's Monster comes to life in Ultimate form in this figure. The box captures the classic movie poster with some highlights of the figure on the back. The window box opening feature provides an excellent display should you not want to open the figure but that would be a shame because this is a beautiful piece.

Immediately upon opening the figure we can see this thing comes packed with accessories. Two alternate heads to allow for a range of emotions, two alternate sets of hands to help him hold some of his accessories or just give more possibility, some lovely flowers, and some chains in case things get out of control. The accessories help play out some key moments in the film and help showcase both the softer side and tramatic side of the story.

The figure is solid, which helps with the possibility as he is easy to balance due to his weighty foundation. He has a great likeness for Boris Karloff, which make the movie version of this figure pop. The paint applications are excellent helping accent the drab details of his clothing and the bruises on his face and neck. Even the flowers and chains have great detail to help you tell the stories of those scenes when displayed.

Whether you are sharing a tender moment with someone new or shunning yourself from fire, this figure has it all! NECA is known for going the extra mile in bringing their figures to life and this is no exception.
