Super Impulse: New York Toy Fair 2020 Booth

Posted by: Nick on February 26, 2020 at 05:12 PM CST

Check out our Super Impulse gallery here.

Every time we see what Super Impulse has to offer we are blown away and this year is no exception. In another franchise celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year, we are going to see some Rubik's Cube items. A full and mini metallic size cube and the return of Rubik's Revolution. That game by the way is insanely fun and really addictive. We have been playing with the sample we received all week and have yet to topple 50 in light speed challenge, but we are working on it. Beyond this we saw some new additions to the tilt games including from Hot Wheels, Tetris, and Pacman. These are portable games that use motion technology to move. Expect to see these starting this spring through the rest of the year.

Speaking of electronics, we saw a new boardwalk arcade game, Pop-A-Shot, expected this spring. What caught us off guard was the new entries to the super slim credit card size electronic games known as Micro Arcade...Oregon Trail! That's right the full classic game in all of its glory ready to take with you on your own road adventure. So hunt those buffalo and watch out for those eagles.

Now what we saw on the Tiny Arcade games also blew our minds. A full miniaturized version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade. Yes, that TMNT Arcade and yes the full version. Of course you can only play as one turtle at a time but from what we saw, the emulation is solid and it looks exactly like the classic arcade game. Expect to see this in stores this spring. We also saw a Tomb Raider game that is releasing this fall. No details on what the game entails but it featured artwork from PS1. Now we cannot think of a Tomb Raider arcade game but anything Tomb Raider would be amazing.

The next pleasant little surprise we encountered was Super Impulse's Micro Action Figure lines. These guys are simply great and are touching on beloved franchises like Transformers, Masters of the Universe, and TMNT to name a few. They actually have accessories that can be removed and display in a package that doubles as storage. These will be hitting shelves in May. Expect more in the future including additional Transformers and classic move monsters!!!

Take a look at the gallery to see all of the lines and the wide product offering from this amazing company.
