Comments: Released in the spring of 2009, the seventh wave of Mattel’s DC Universe Classics line gave toy buyers the opportunity to Collect & Connect a properly proportioned figure based on Atom Smasher. This wave featured seven characters including Aquaman (Ocean Warrior), Big Barda, Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Captain Cold, The Flash, and Kid Flash. As is now customary to the collection, this has two relevant chase figure variations that give collectors the choice between the regular Big Barda and a helmetless variant, and a regular ‘classic’ Booster Gold and a ‘modern’ version. Of the seven figures in the wave, only six include Collect & Connect pieces; The Flash only includes a figure display stand.
