This Mutant Messiah was taken under the protection of Cable, who sought to save the child from those who would do her harm. In the mountains of Canada, multiple teams converged, some to help the infant and others to harm the girl and her new caretaker. Two of the combatants, X-23 and Lady Deathstrike, locked themselves in a furious contest of adamantium claws and blood.
