Surprising news for certain, but it is true. McFarlane Toys has announced that they are going to offering 4" hyper-articulated figures in their brand new Playmakers line. The first wave of figures in thus upcoming collection will feature over 20 points of articulation and will comprise of twelve Major League Baseball players including the New York Yanks' Alex Rodriguez & Derek Jeter, the Boston Red Sox's Dustin Pedroia, David Ortiz, & Josh Beckett, the St. Louis Cardinals' Albert Pujols, Los Angeles Dodgers' Manny Ramirez, the Seattle Mariners' Ichiro Suzuki, the Philadelphia Phillies' Ryan Howard, the Atlanta Braves' Chipper Jones, the New York Mets' David Wright, and the San Francisco Giants' Tim Lincecum. Each figure in this assortment will feature both batting and fielding variants, and all will be single carded. Stay tuned for images and information on this line.
