Legendary artist, Walter Simonson rarely sells any of his comic illustrations, and to this day still owns most of the work he has produced in his thirty plus years. In addition to this he seldom does commission work, making it even more difficult for collectors to own a piece of his original artwork. Every now and then, Simonson will produce a special piece intended for sale, but never for profit. Such is the case of this auction.

This auction is to raise funds to help Steve Perry, the writer of Thundercats, Time Spirits, and Salimba among other titles.
